Description

Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid the reality that sometimes, shitty things are going to happen.

What makes matters worse, when shitty things happen to us - we have a tendency to shame ourselves and almost exaggerate the impact of a negative outcome.

Fortunately, though, we can formally restructure our interpretation of the event to reshape the way we experience the situation, so we can move forward with a new lesson rather than an unpleasant memory.

Basically, by reframing how we think about our experiences, or by choosing what we will focus on, we can put our efforts into the more important things that we should focus on. Such as - taking accountability, learning a valuable lesson, moving on, and moving forward without being held back by our negative self talk.
