💲 The cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger has raised €100 million ($109 million) in funding, according to the company’s disclosure on Thursday. Ledger CEO Pascal Gauthier says there has been significant demand for hardware wallets. 
Bloomberg article states The demise of crypto exchanges like FTX as well as numerous large-scale hacks last year made users jittery about leaving their funds and assets on online platforms, leading to an outflow from centralized venues https://lnkd.in/diXm7EJY Pascal Gauthier told Bloomberg’s Anna Irrera that the company will leverage the cash injection to expand distribution, production, and research and development.

❌ CZ Was Rumored to Be on Red Notice by INTERPOL. This was however #fakenews, there is currently no evidence of public notice. & CZ has denied the rumours. The fake news was propagated by Jordan Fish, also known as Cobie, on his UpOnly podcast. He initially posted an encrypted tweet that, when deciphered, stated “Interpol Red Notice for CZ.”

👕 Ralph Laurens Miami Store to Accept Crypto Payments
CoinDesk has reported that American fashion brand Ralph Lauren will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments at its newly-opened store in Miami’s Design District, becoming the retailer’s first location to do so. The brand is also partnering with the Web3 community Poolsuite to release a co-branded NFT collection.
 

According to a press release, the store is partnering with service provider BitPay to allow customers to purchase merchandise using #BTC, #ETH &
