Matthew 5:4

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 

EVEN THOSE IN ZION ARE NOT SPARED FROM TEARS, BUT THERE IS COMFORT AND SOLACE FOR THEM IN THE LORD AS THE SONG BY JOSEPH SCRIVEN SAYS,

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry to carry,
Ev’rything to God in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear, 
All because we do not carry,
Ev’rything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share? 
Jesus knows our ev’ry weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? 
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In his arms he’ll take and shield thee, 
Thou wilt find a solace there

Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

John‬ ‭16‬:‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬

“Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.”

Psalm 30:10-12

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper. 11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 12To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. Psalm 126:1-3

Isaiah 49:13

“He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
