Meanwhile, Texas continues the march towards right wing dystopia with a fanatical bill that under the guise of “parental rights” aims to shift public funding to religious schools, eliminate LGBTQ people from history class, and enshrine a chilling effect that will prevent schools from providing a culturally responsive education to marginalized students.
