242: Greg Locke Pretends He's an Exorcist Now

Published 2 years, 11 months ago
Description

In this episode, we're delving into the controversial figure of Greg Locke, the pastor of Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. You may remember that last year, in February 2021, Locke hosted a book burning at his church, which garnered significant media attention.

Since then, Locke has become more mainstream and has built relationships with more reputable evangelicals, including Eric Metaxas. He now has a large following and is known for his controversial views on vaccines and masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Locke's latest focus is on deliverance ministry, where he claims to cast out demons.

Locke's latest film, "Come Out in Jesus' Name," was recently released through Fathom Events and hit number four in the box office on Monday, March 13th, 2023. The film made approximately one million dollars and was screened in 766 theaters nationwide – and there are some wild videos of "exorcisms" and "demons" – (AKA screaming people thrashing around on the floors of the theaters.)
