Description

On 26 February Australia won the T20 Women’s World Cup in South Africa.

In this podcast former England Test centurion Kathryn Leng and German international Tina Gough are back on the show to review the 8th T20 Women’s World Cup which proved to be a wonderful advert for the women’s game. The pair are joined by England A wicket keeper Ellie Threlkeld and teenage vlogger Rosa Simkin who both make cameo appearances.

In a packed episode we discussed whether countries are getting closer to toppling Australia, England’s campaign, the stars of the event and posed the question should there be more teams in the T20 World Cup. Plus, we look ahead to April’s Fairbreak Invitational tournament in Hong Kong where Tina is headed to play for the Falcons and the Ashes which begins on 22 June at Trent Bridge.

Enjoy a fun packed show of cricketing insight from our panel of experts. More than one host at times! Packed with cricketing cliches. And an angry fast bowler!
