Think you’ve had a tough upbringing? Maybe you do, but Dawn certainly did. She was an adoptee that grew up in a parental “war zone.” She was pregnant at 12 and had a child at 13. She was tricked out by her mother at an early age. She then discovered the relief that drugs could bring. Further down the road, together with her husband, they built a drug empire. She had a 4-year-old son murdered in front of her, over $48.58 during a mugging within feet of their home. She was nearly beaten to death with a crowbar and found God while in prison. Once a product of the projects, she now dares to dream and has found a life helping her community and others. This interview is not for the squeamish.
