The Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon in what amounted to a preseason game for Kansas City. I know. I wanted the Chiefs' backups to win, too. 15-1 would have been cool. But 14-2 ain't bad, either. The Chiefs rested their starters so guys could heal up and avoid injury. Unfortunately, Kansas City couldn't rest everyone. Promising rookie, Willie Gay, left with an injury and did not return. While he isn't a starter, Gay brings a tremendous amount of athletism to a decidedly not athletic Chiefs linebacking group. Let's hope he is ok. On this week's Arrowhead Addict podcast, we will break down some of the performances from today's meaningless game and set the stage for the AFC Playoffs.
