The next installment of the FCCP’s Minamahal Kita celebrates just that with New York-based tenor, Rogelio Peñaverde, Jr. With him are a host of other artists and FCCP scholars, including pianist and harpist Jane Banta. With Martin Lopez, Scholarship Committee Director of the Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines, they tell us about the kundiman, its related art forms, and what other celebrations are in store for Minamahal Kita.
