This week's episode features Yaamu Camara, originally from West Africa. Trying to write a description for this episode that would truly do it justice was an impossible task. Yaamu’s story of perseverance and overcoming life’s shortcomings is honestly only like one we’ve ever read in story books. 

Yaamu grew up as an orphan in a village where she was forced to sleep on cardboard boxes throughout most of her early life. She buried herself in books and made a pact to herself that she would one day make a better life for herself. Not only that but she would one day buy an entire house so she could sleep in her own bed. 

Fast forward to 2023, Yaamu is living in the United States with a real estate portfolio of over 30 units. After speaking with Yaamu, we realized that we legitimately have no worthy excuses left and need to get after it every single day. 

This is an episode you’ll come back to from time to time when you need a little inspiration. We promise, her story is one for the books. Enjoy!
