What does it mean that Wisdom was not only present at creation—but was God’s delight?

In Proverbs 8, Wisdom is pictured alongside the Creator as He planned and constructed the universe. From the vastness of the solar system to the microscopic complexity of a cell, creation reflects remarkable order and wisdom.

In Part 2 of this three-part series, we continue exploring Proverbs 8 through two important principles: Wisdom was by God’s side during creation, and Wisdom was God’s delight.

These images deepen the picture introduced in Part 1. Wisdom isn't presented merely as practical advice for making better decisions. Proverbs 8 takes us further back—to creation itself—and invites us to consider just how fundamental wisdom is to the world God made.
