The Knicks dominated the game with the big three players Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Jalen Brunson leading the team. They had a strong start with Barrett attacking inside and out while Randle fired from three. The Knicks had 73 points at halftime, which was symbolic of the 72-73 Knicks team that won the World title. In the third quarter, the Pelicans managed to catch up but in the fourth quarter, the Knicks pulled ahead and won 128-106. The game was a solid win for the Knicks that even lead to Derrick Rose chants and Thibs, very unlike himself, surrounds to the crowds chants.
