Lightning strikes Vali twice on the road to the Twangfolk's Kaibu — Rahua yells at the sky until it backs down. A mischievous old man serves broth. A politely zombified medicine-woman bleeds off one tier of Vali's rot. Tannhauser wakes up furious he missed the reality engine, and then somebody mentions a three-mouthed toad god.
