On A Bowl of Soul we celebrate the legendary composer, producer and musician, Burt Bacharach whose songs have been sung by numerous R&B artists throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. His music still stands the test of time. Burt Bacharach died at the age of 94 on February 8, 2023, but he has left us with a tremendous body of work that will stand the test of time. We also celebrate singer Chuck Jackson who had a hit with a Burt Bacharach penned tunes. Chuck Jackson died on February 16, 2023 at the age of 85. We celebrate them on A Bowl of Soul A Mixed Stew of Soul Music.
