Sometimes I believe it's hard to admit that we're not okay
Description
Sometimes I believe it's hard to admit that we're not okay. How are you? I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm good. We all say that. And, of course, what we mean is don't ask because we don't want to tell the truth. The truth is, is that life is hard. And you know, it's hard, but you don't want to have to explain or defend, you know, it's okay to be okay. But it's also okay not to be okay. We need to stop telling the socially acceptable things and say, you know, I'm not okay. However, you don't have to defend it. You don't have to explain it. And you don't have to tell anybody why you're not okay. But it's okay for you to admit that you're not okay. When you ask me how I am, I usually will tell you I'm sad today, angry, or just had a moment I didn't feel good, didn't like myself, or something happened. It wasn't very pleasing to me. I will tell you what's happening without the details because you don't need to know what's happening. I need to admit the truth about myself. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
