Žižek Underground
Description
Alright, today we are speaking with Mikey Downs of the Dangerous Maybe blog and Dave McKerracher of Theory Underground about Žižek, Hegel & Lacan. We’re talking the difference between pleasure and enjoyment, Žižek’s lasting contributions to theory, the history of the Subject, and the obscene supplement of the Law with Dirty Harry. Hang out for the end of the episode, it’s better than canned laughter.
Check out Dave’s new institute the Theory Underground which is currently providing courses on the PMC, the Idea of the University, and the highly recommended course on Zizek’s FTKNWTD which is being taught by Mikey himself starting on the 25th of February 2023.
