The 7 Days: ATP/WTA Review + Rotterdam Daily Preview
Description
It's been quite a seven days in the world of tennis with Belinda Bencic maintaining her impressive 2023 form by winning the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, saving three championship points against Liudmila Samsonova.
Meanwhile, Wu Yibing also saved championship points en route to becoming the first Chinese player to win an ATP Tour title, rallying in a three-set, all-tiebreaker thriller to beat John Isner in the Dallas Open.
Elsewhere, we begin our daily coverage of the Rotterdam Open, where Stefanos Tsitsipas, Andrey Rublev, defending champion Felix Auger-Aliassime and Daniil Medvedev are all seeking their first title of 2023.
Jannick Sinner, who won the ATP250 title in Montpellier last week, is also competing in the Netherlands.
