'McKnight Tonight' is part of the 'TV Blackbox' podcast feed.

"The Queen of The Cross" started her career as an original cast member of the long-running male revue Les Girls and her in the early '60s and she's still going strong today.

Starting out as a 'drag' performer, Carlotta was the first high-profile performer to undergo a sex change operation.

Now she's telling Rob McKnight about her personal and professional life as she discusses;

• The affair she had with one of television's biggest names and the heartbreaking decision to leave him in order to save his career
• The rocker she slept with and the famous face that sang a Christmas song at the end of her bed
• The real reason she left morning TV show 'Studio 10'
• The shocking secret she left out of the telemovie based on her life... and why
• A hilarious story about her time with Shirley Bassey (we save that story until the very end)
• And that's just the start!
