Turkey and Syria, Dr. Maeve O'Rourke and The Grammys vs. Stan Culture
Description
This week Aoife Moore of the Sunday Times Ireland breaks down what's happened with the earthquake in Turkey and Syria and how we can help, as well as the latest survey on child hunger and the madness of the State of the Union Address in America. I chat to Dr. Maeve O'Rourke about her work with survivors of the Magdelene Laundries and Mother and Baby Homes. She explains how we can have an impact in terms of ensuring all people who survived Mother and Baby Homes are included in the Redress scheme. Finally, Emer McLysaght and I chat through the week's entertainment stories, including the wild online response to the Grammys and Kourtney Kardashian's vagina gummies.
