SpaceX prepares to fire all 33 Starship engines at once
Gwynne Shotwell, President of SpaceX, announced on Wednesday that the company is aiming to accomplish a significant milestone with its Starship project this week. The event scheduled for Thursday is known as a "static fire" and it involves testing all 33 engines of the starship's rocket booster simultaneously. In November, SpaceX carried out a test firing with 14 of these engines as part of its efforts to launch a starship prototype into orbit.
