Description

The official return of Ole Miss football has officially been set.

The new-look Rebels will open spring practices March 21 — culminating in the annual Grove Bowl, game-simulated scrimmage inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on April 15. Television and game-day information for fans will be announced at a later date.

At long last, fans and media alike will get their first look at 14 transfer additions for the Rebels, highlighted by quarterbacks Spencer Sanders (Oklahoma State) and Walker Howard (LSU). Each is expected to be given the opportunity to challenge second-year returning Ole Miss starter Jaxson Dart.

Ben Garrett and David Johnson deep-dive into all the spring possibilities in this edition of Franchise Player, a site-crossover podcast of the Ole Miss Spirit (On3) and Inside the Rebels (247). Plus, the guys touch on a rare SEC win for Rebel basketball and the future of Kermit Davis, among other topics.
