Professor Randy Barnett thinks we should abandon the original Constitution. This wouldn't be noteworthy if Barnett was considered a progressive leftist. But he often moves in "conservative" circles, so his advice to drop real "originalism" and replace it with "14th Amendment Originalism", the same thing progressive SCOTUS Justice Jackson advances, is problematic to say the least.
