The ASX 200 is up 39 points (+0.5%) at 7515 points piggybacking off the positive sentiment from the US overnight. Most sectors pushing higher, with REITS leading the way, as CHC and HMC gain 3.7% and 3.3%. Interest rate sensitive sectors All-Tech Index and Gold both down 0.2% and 0.5%. Resources are up 0.5%, Materials +0.9%, and Mining +0.8%. Defensive sectors are also up with Healthcare, and Industrials up 0.6% and 0.8%. The Banks are up, the Big Bank basket up 0.2% to $190.06. Mesoblast Limited (MSB) – up 10.5% after resubmitting its Biologics License Application to the US FDA. Flight Centre Travel Group Limited (LTR) - up 8.2% following the completion of its institutional placement. US results season in full swing with Alphabet and Apple to report later this week - Diary hereAustralian results season kicking off next week - Diary here. Dow Futures are down 84 points, and NASDAQ Futures are down 61 points.
