If there was ever a reason to turn to drugs or alcohol in order cope with living, this life was it. Nicole’s childhood was filled with abuse and neglect. At age 9, she started drinking, caught her first criminal case at 14 and was in prison by age 25. She lost her brother to PTSD from Iraq and then to suicide. The father of her daughters died. Her sister was murdered. Her mom suffered a mental breakdown. She has fought, clawed, scratched her way to a new life.
