In 2014, you could pickup Halma plc shares for £6 per share. Today those shares are worth just shy of £21. That's a 250% growth over 9 years. A straight-line annual average growth rate of 28% per year. Halma, however, only pays a 1% dividend each year.
 
Join me this week whilst I explain my thought process behind why this approach is likely to achieve a higher rate of return than a portfolio of stocks selected based on their dividend return yield.
