They discuss the entire arduous journey running into Team Rocket throughout Kanto, the gym battle against Giovanni, and the full episode featuring the eighth gym badge which includes Gary's 10 badges, Giovanni battling with Mewtwo, Jessie/James/Meowth becoming gym leaders, and Ash somewhat earning his eighth gym badge despite shenanigans.
