This week, Dan Smotz from The System Is Down podcast joins Jed for a little back-and-forth, where they discuss recent news and "the Great Molasses Flood"...it's some much needed history. Then, Jed gets a chance to talk to Jesse Harvey, the founder of The Church Of Safe Injection. Jesse's organization seeks to end stigmas against addicts and provide safe, evidence based treatment and support to those currently addicted. Jesse believes "no one deserves to die because they use drugs", and I wholeheartedly agree. Jesse started operating a needle exchange from his vehicle, and the organization has grown to 22 chapters around the country.
