This week on Outdoor Journal Radio, Ang and Pete are joined by Ontario's former Minister of Natural Resources, Jerry Ouellette!

Before Jerry joined the show, however, a few news items needed taking care of. Topics discussed include: Hemmingway's trout; being overwhelmed by maple;  Pete's problem with green peppers; Ang and Pete's favourite fish recipes; shore lunches; Margarine tips; and the power of fat.

With those matters out of the way, Jerry joined the show to help out with the fan question, talk about his time as Minister, and school us about the powers of Chaga and other foraged foods. Topics discussed include: why Ang wants to stock Northern Pike; what happened to all the smelt; watching Sturgeon on AquaVu; why Seagulls are protected; when the Bay of Quinte was almost shut down; where Chaga is found; whether the Birch wants it there; why the medical community won't acknowledge it; who Chaga is good for; a blueberry cinnamon taste test; and much more!
