Description

I got a notification yesterday on Facebook that someone wanted to be my friend again, I get those quite often and think there was five setting in my inbox. And so I took just a moment, maybe about 15 minutes or so, and looked around on Facebook, and I'm not there very often. But here's what I noticed. I noticed all of the please look at me, see me, this is what I'm doing in my life. This is what I want to show you. You know, there's nothing wrong with that, I suppose. Because even if I'm like that, I want people to see me. But we're doing it on social media. Why can't we do that, as I don't know, one on one, sharing your story with someone about how wonderful your life is, not in a way about bragging. But I was being grateful for the things that you have. Now, I know some excellent stuff about social media. And I'm not saying anything wrong about Facebook. But I am saying that we often want to show others who we aren't, as opposed to showing others who we are so grateful. Now you can be thankful on Facebook, but I'd like you to be so appreciative to someone today for how life is going well for you. Even if it isn't, pick something, choose something, and be thankful for something that you can y, sincerely appreciate. And do it with someone in person. Look at them directly in the eyes, and tell them how thankful you are for something in your world. And then practice feeling that also. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
