The New York Knicks come up short in the fourth quarter yet again after being up 17 in the third quarter. The game began as a defense first game with both teams struggling to score on each other. The Knicks defense on Giannis was superb for the first 3 quarters and Julius Randle's usual first quarter barrage of points was held to a minimum by the Bucks. Jalen Brunson on the other hand was lighting it up. He finished with a new career high of 44 points and was fighting till the end to keep his Knicks team in the game. What gave the Bucks a late lead was the overplayed defense on the weak side leaving corner threes open for player like Grayson Allen and Joe Ingles.
