You probably think this title is an exaggeration, that my contempt for the Tories is sending me over the top. But no. In response to nurses - and rail workers, and teachers, and other key workers - being driven to such despair that they strike, the Tories have finally come up with a response: to sack them. But it won't just be our nurses and other pillars of society who will pay the price - we all will.
