Changing The Sport Through Media With Trackstaa (Alfie Manthorpe) | How To Bring Storytelling To The Most Participated Sport In The World

Description

Today is a special podcast and discussion with Alfie Manthorpe (better known as Trackstaa). Despite the sport of running is the most commonly shared sport around the world, there is seemingly very little coverage surrounding it. Track and Field is consistently the #1 watched sport in the Olympics every four years, so why isn't it covered and talked about the other three years? What are ways we can bring greater storytelling into our sport?

These are some of the questions that Trackstaa and I cover in this fun and insightful podcast. In addition to discussing how we can better cover our sport, we talk about Trackstaa's own personal running journey (hint: he's really fast), his goals in this sport, where he envisions Trackstaa in the future, and what some of his goals are for 2023. We also discuss Flotrack, Sweat Elite, and other fun stories from Trackstaa's experience covering the sport.

A lot more exciting content and projects coming soon. The Running Effect x Trackstaa in 2023.
