#94: The Hidden Philosophy in Metallica's Legendary Master of Puppets

Episode 94 Published 3 years, 2 months ago
Description
In anticipation of Metallica's new album, 72 Seasons, I'm revisiting my philosophy of metal bands series. When we last left off I had analyzed Ride the Lightning. The next album on the list is Master of Puppets. This is when Metalica peaked at their first era before pivoting on And Justice for All. I'll evaluate the less obvious meanings behind each song on the album. From Battery to Sanitarium; from Orion to Damage Inc. I'll leave no stone unturned.
