Ep. 120. Journey Under the Sea: Week Three Sharks and Holes
This week, both brothers die quickly and badly. But which brother dies least badly, thereby securing a winning read and taking one tiny step closer to earning themselves a get-out-of-sad-pizza-party-free card? Who cares! Underwater adventure awaits!
Also, the guys hand out some very special thanks to a fellow Taskmaster fan, Chris challenges Matt to discover which Octonaut he is, Matt uses a tentacle as a garnish (no joke, photo and recipe below – enjoy!), the brothers bury themselves in the ancient mystery that is the bluntnose sixgill, and the aforementioned tentacle gets sassy and slappy!
The Mad Atlantean
- 2 parts Scotch (best if from bottle found in a sunken ship)
- 1/2 part dry Vermouth
- 1 dash Wormwood Bitters
- 1 dash Sassafras Bitters
- Lil bit of Lemon Juice
- Squid Tentacle
Pour all ingredients over ice and stir well. Serve on the rocks, with a squid tentacle garnish.
The Slightly-Less Mad Atlantean (Non-Alcoholic)
- Big ol’ glass of Hawaiian Punch Berry Blue Typhoon
- Splash in some Wormwood Extract
- Garnish with tentacle
Pour over ice and stir! Garnish with that lovely bit of squiddy.
