Andre’s dad started taking him to the gym to channel his energy as a young boy, and that turned into a love for fighting. As he has moved forward in his career, and things have changed over time, he’s noticed that the new shift in the industry expects you to have followers, people who are ready to go and already trending. He’s now also moving into real estate investing and even port licensing.
Your passion shouldn’t stop when a sports career stops. Nothing will fill the void of competing, so use that drive to fuel your passion. Using that same championship mindset from the sports world translates very well in the business world. Sports people kill it in business because they understand commitment so well. The game changes, but the mindset stays the same. You have to constantly chip away at your goals. Think, “It’s going to go the way I want, no matter how long it takes.” Commit to showing up every day. Your drive will determine your outcome.
