Marianella shares her experience creating a STEM program for underserved girls of color.

More about Marianella:

Residing in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, Marianella Salinas is a rising senior at Westover School, a single-sex boarding and day school in Middlebury, Connecticut. Since first-grade, Marianella has been a Girl Scout earning her Bronze, Silver and Gold Award. In her free time, she enjoys playing squash and golf as well as traveling to new destinations; her favorite place she traveled to so far was Rwanda. Her favorite classes are math, physics, and french. Marianella aspires to be an engineering student studying mechanical or electrical engineering. In the future, she hopes to continue her STEM outreach work.
