Roberta Kerr brought her to life and has been telling Ashley about how the character was created and evolved - from meeting Ken when she worked at the local council to secret meetings and visits to 'the Wendy house', leaving Weatherfield and turning up like a bad penny to Deirdre's disgust many years later.
