Frankly Freelance: Creating a Business on Your Terms with Flo Lloyd
Description
Eeeep! Guess who is on the podcast this week?! That’s right, it’s none other than my wonderful, talented podcast editor and lil’ sis, Flo Lloyd. A freelancer herself, I thought it would be great to get Flo on the show to chat about her journey of building and growing a podcasting business
In this episode you can expect plenty of raw and real conversation as Flo guides us through her journey from leaving her 9-5 life – which she truly loathed and never felt was right for her – to starting her podcast editing business, Peachy Pod in January 2021.
Our chat went deep into the realities of freelancing and owning a business, and also, because I mentor Flo 1:1, we kind of ended up in a live coaching session which was super fun!!
In this episode we chatted through:
✹ The importance of setting fear aside when you start your business
✹ Navigating difficult feelings and experiences to grow resilience
✹ Why the phrase “on your own terms” can be overwhelming for many
✹ How to create a sustainable social media presence
✹ A realistic view on how to tackle the pressures of the online space
Thank you so much to Flo for being such a warm and wonderful guest and sharing her journey so honestly and humbly 💜
