Use the S.M.A.R.T. system to help identify your goal. The goal has to be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound.

1.Be specific because this will help you to focus in without deviating.

2.It has to be measurable because you want something that you can repeat so that you can collect data over time.

3.This goal must be attainable and there are reference points in your mind that tells this is reachable. Even if it's outside of your comfort zone you know that you can reach it with the proper focus.

4.Don't be so ambitious that you disappoint yourself if you miss the mark.

5.Give yourself a deadline and meet that deadline.
