Gifted and Talented education in America in the '90s and early '00s was run by the CIA. Children in public schools were put through a screening test around grade 3-4 and then placed in this GATE program. These memories have been often suppressed and forgotten. Was this just an innocent project that helped identify talented children? Or was it instead being used as a way to identify certain groups of individuals who might be a harm to the status quo?
