Episode Details

The plaintiff sold some land to the defendant, who is a former friend’s husband. She says the defendant agreed to pay the back taxes, but he hasn’t paid it all off, so she’s suing. The defendant argues there was an outstanding balance on the taxes, and he paid them. He says he deducted that amount from what he paid her. He’s countersuing for unpaid loans. 

Then, the plaintiff says she’s a traveling physical therapist and model, and she rented a furnished room from the defendant. She says he freaked out when she used the fridge, and she moved out right away. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff cooked with heavy oils and cranked up the heat, plus she broke the lease. He’s countersuing for unpaid rent, cleaning costs, ruined kitchenware, and lost wages.
