It's not really fair to just pick on Jake Tapper when so many pundits are producing ridiculous news segments on why Putin is being so aggressive in Ukraine.  The depth of analysis is only about 2" deep on a history that goes all the way back to the fall of the Soviet Empire.  But the corporate can't help itself!  It's an addiction to the new era of "NEWS" where "unnamed" sources can be quoted all day long every day and nobody questions or challenges it.  Of course, the sources are operatives within the US Government who are constantly agitating to show our dominance or pre-eminence as a world empire.  If fear that recklessness and lust for power have our days numbered as the most powerful nation in the world.  We have abused that distinction and we need a major course correction, or this honor will be taken from us.
