• He supervised the rebuilding of Jerusalem followed God's calling to rebuild the walls of the city of Jerusalem. Nehemiah had a unique ability to solve complex problems. He was successful in his work. 
• He was a systems thinker with a discipline for seeing the gaps...
• He was a master planner and when he presented his plan to the king, God’s favor rested on him and the challenge to rebuild was underway.
• Nehemiah divided the labor into segments to rebuild sections of the wall. 

A task that had been left undone for 140 years was completed in just 52 days under Nehemiah’s leadership.
