Congress held a Congressional hearing to deschedule marijuana today. Here's what we think is the roadmap toward full legalization:
1. Expand defunding DOJ from enforcing federal marijuana law,
2. Pass SAFE Banking Act to allow cannabis companies to get accounts.
3. Wait for states to put systems in place for regulation and distribution.
4. Use CSA as protectionist policy to protect domestic cannabis market.
5. drop marijuana from the CSA.
