Do you have to feel loved in order to be loved? I'm sure that we all want to feel loved. Why wouldn't we, but then there's this kind of love that isn't reciprocal is where we love someone, regardless of whether it comes back to us. Now I can tell you, if I don't feel loved by you is going to affect the way that I feel about you. But that doesn't mean that I can't love you anyway, or regardless of whether it comes back to me. This is kind of a weird oddity thing that happens. But true love is my willingness to accept the person that you are, regardless of how you treat me. Since Love is a choice about how I choose to love you, that means that no matter what's happening, even if it means that I don't want to be around you, because you're harming me, it doesn't mean I don't love you. It doesn't mean that I can't care for you from a distance. Love is truly about what I think about you regardless of what comes back to me. So learning how to walk in this higher kind of love is a great challenge. It's the God kind of love. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
