Sitting perfectly still with eyes closed is not a prerequisite for being mindful. The fact is a little movement can bring you back into the moment. When we make this daily connection to being present through out the day it gives back to us by creating the space and the intention for healing and creating better health. The more we bring in practices that integrate mind-body, the more we experience embodiment. It's through these moments of truly being present that opens the door to listening to the body and reawakening to our inner wisdom and intuition. Mindfulness leads to understanding, dealing with and resolving unwanted habits to bring in more balance and harmony in life.
