Hello everyone! In today's episode I talk about what happens behind the scene to make a concert tour successful. From negotiating revenue split with the venue , renting buses and hotel rooms in the planning phase, to setting up the stage in oftentimes less than a day and making sure all things work as they should, everything has to line up perfectly to make a concert a success. Next time you enjoy a concert, thank not only the artist/s, but also the team that work with artist/s to put on a great show. Script and expressions below.

如果你参加过美国学校跟戏剧有关的活动，你应该了解排演新剧的时候，不只是需要台上的演员，幕后还有很多服装人员，舞台技术人员，灯光人员，乐队等工作人员。大家都要一起配合好才能给观众献上一个完美的演出。巡回演唱会也是一样。一般提前一年左右就要开始准备了。演唱会前，巡演公司需要先跟演出场地的人谈好费用和所有收入怎么分。一般来说，艺人的公司会拿到百分之八十五左右。夏天的演唱会，上一年的秋冬就要把这些定下来了。定下来时间和地点以后， 巡演公司就要租卡车，大巴，飞机等。除了交通工具以外，还有专门的人为大家订酒店，并告诉酒店有什么具体的时间，饮食方面的需求。虽然都是提前很久计划，但是有时候还是“计划赶不上变化”，这就需要公司跟酒店和租车公司时刻保持联系。如果有什么变化，及时沟通。

巡演公司从一场到下一场都是分组行动。艺人和他们的经纪人，助理之类可能会坐飞机。乐队和伴舞坐旅游大巴。如果路程远，时间紧，又是晚上赶路的话，公司会订有床的大巴，这样大家就可以在车上睡觉。其他人——比如舞台技师和工人——在把舞台音响设备，办公物品等装车之后，也是坐大巴前往下一场的地点。要是两场演唱会之间间隔很短，又要开夜车的话，大巴司机的休息时间就特别重要了。他们白天睡觉，晚上开车。都没有时间看演唱会。
