When you’re juggling multiple hot issues, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, but taking it one step at a time is one of the best strategies for dealing with difficult situations. Start with the most pressing issue, and then break it down into small manageable increments. \n\nAlthough you may be up against a deadline, it’s important to keep things in perspective. Deal with the most pressing issues that cannot be delayed or postponed. The projects that can be delayed without much damage should be dealt with secondarily. Make phone calls to the necessary contact(s) to inform them the task will be slightly behind schedule.
