Description
Episode 5 Jane Britton

In January 1969, a brutal murder of a graduate student shocked Harvard University. Jane Britton was found raped and beaten to death in her apartment. The investigation rocked Harvard's esteemed faculty when several anthropology professors came under investigation for the murder, who were under scrutiny because a red powder sprinkled at the murder scene paralleled an ancient burial rite. There were also whispers that Jane was involved in an affair with a professor, and her boyfriend, also a student, was interrogated several times. But no one could be connected to the murder, and Jane's case went cold. When her killer was revealed, he had no connection to Harvard at all.
