Ep 68: Autism and Fish Oil / Omega

Episode 68 Published 3 years, 4 months ago
Description

Oil from fish. Why is it so good for us?

Most of us think about our diet and make sure to have
healthy protein, whole grain carbs, fruits and vegetables.

But, what about healthy fats? Most of us forget about that part.
Unless you're eating lots of WILD CAUGHT fish or avocadoes or nuts and seeds, we probably aren't getting healthy fats in our diet.

Lots of our brain cells are coated with a blanket of healthy fat, called myelin. If your child has a healthy fat / omega-3 / fish oil deficiency, that can affect brain function!

Most importantly, while some natural supplements are similar in quality regardless of brand, fish oil varies dramatically between brands and forms. You WANT to make sure you have the right form of fish oil so that it works!

Dr. Jared Skowron, 20-year international autism doctor, will guide you through the natural ways to help support your child's health with specific kinds of fish oil, without needing pharmaceuticals!
